Download & Install Wine on Ubuntu
The wine package provides essential wrappers and convenience tools for the standard Wine components.

Lutris developers recommend to install the latest version of the Wine package.
To install Wine in Ubuntu open the terminal and type:
sudo apt install wine wine64 winetricks


Lutris is compatible with any up-to-date Linux system. It relies on Python 3 and GTK libraries and will run on any desktop environment.

Lutris uses community contributed installation scripts to provide an optimal experience and setup. Once installed, games are launched with programs called runners.


Download & Install Lutris on Ubuntu
Packages compatible with Ubuntu and derivatives are available on the PPA.
You can add a repository using terminal to receive automatic updates:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:lutris-team/lutris
sudo apt update
sudo apt install lutris

Before installing and running Lineage II, make sure your PC meets the minimum requirements. Please note that Lineage II requires DirectX 9.0c and at least 3GB RAM or above. Windows 10 / 8 / 7. Install DirectX 9.0c or above and the latest drivers for your video card.

Required: corefonts / d3dx9 or above / dotnet20 / msxml4 or msxml6 / vcrun2008 / Tahoma fonts

For Linux Ubuntu: Change ALT key with SUPER in your Linux OS settings.

Disable csmt [on some PCs] (Create a new D_WORD Key in Windows Registry from Wine and restart - to avoid High CPU usage)
