Artifacts enhance characters increasing their combat stats. There are 4 artifact types: Attack, Defense, Support and Balance. Each type is marked with a special ancient rune engraved on an artifact.

Artifacts are permanents items that have no grade.
Equipping artifacts requires artifact books. The following books are available:

An artifact book is equipped in the corresponding inventory slot (to the right of bracelets) and unlocks artifact slots.
You can see the list of your artifacts and their effects in your inventory (Artifact Effect → All Artifacts).
Artifacts' enchant value is shown in the left bottom corner of their icons.
Artifacts don't have weight, they are stacked in the corresponding inventory tab and don't count in the total number of items. There are maximum 100 artifact slots in the inventory (for all races, Dwarves included).
You can check equipped artifacts' effects in the 'Artifact Effect' tab of the artifact book or in the Artifact category of the passive skill tab.







Here is the list of artifact books' effects; set effects are activated even if all your equipped artifacts are +0:


Artifact Book Lv. 1
When all artifact slots are filled, damage +1%, received damage -5%.

Artifact Book Lv. 2
When all artifact slots are filled, damage +5%, received damage -6%.

Artifact Book Lv. 3
When all artifact slots are filled, damage +6%, received damage -7%, all basic stats +1.


Artifact Books of Lv. 1-3 can be bought from Alexandria in Giran Luxury.





There are 4 artifact types: attack, defense, support and balance. Each type can be equipped only in the corresponding slot of an artifact book.

The number of slots available depends on a book:

Attack artifacts: 1 in a set, 3 in total.
Defense artifacts: 1 in a set, 3 in total.
Support artifacts: 1 in a set, 3 in total.
Balance artifacts: 4 in a set, 12 in total.
Artifacts can be enhanced; the higher an artifact's level, the stronger its effects.

When enhanced, attack, defense and support artifacts give stronger bonuses than balance ones.

Equipping artifacts
For artifact effects to be activated, artifacts must be equipped in an artifact book.
There is a special slot for an artifact book in your inventory.
Check the Artifact Effects tab to see effects of the equipped artifacts for each set.



You cannot use similar artifacts of the same type, e.g.
Artifact - P. Atk. Attack + Artifact - P. Atk. Attack

However, you can use similar effects of different types simultaneously, e.g.:
Artifact - P. Atk. Attack + Artifact - P. Atk. Balance

If you try to equip similar artifacts of the same type, a system notification appears warning you that it is impossible.


Enhancing artifacts
You can enhance artifacts by clicking the 'Enhance Artifact' button in your inventory.
Some balance artifacts cannot be enhanced.
The maximum enhancement value is +10.
The enhancing is safe from +0 to +1. Further enhancements can result in failure.



Enhancement process
Press the 'Enhance Artifact'  button in your inventory. The enhancement UI will appear, its right part the list of available artifacts.
Choose an artifact you want to enhance and drag it to the central slot in the left part of the UI. Only artifacts from your inventory are shown in the list. Equipped artifacts are not displayed. You must unequip them first, if necessary.
Choose artifacts you want to use for enhancing the central slot artifact and drag them to the material slots.
Artifacts used for enhancing must be of the same type as the artifact that is being enhanced. E.g., Artifact - P. Atk. (Attack) can be enhanced with all other attack artifacts regardless of their stats (M. Atk., Atk. Spd., Casting Spd., etc.).
Starting from +4, artifacts can be enhanced only with materials of +1 and higher. Also, starting from +7, artifacts enhanced to +3 and higher are required (though their required number is lower). E.g., to enhance an artifact from +7 to +8, you will need 2 artifacts of +3. Artifacts that don't meet these requirements are not shown in the list of available artifacts.

The enhancing is safe from +0 to +1. Further enhancements can result in failure. In that case all materials will disappear, but the enhanced artifact remains with its current enhancement value.
If you succeed, the central artifact will absorb all materials and gets +1 to its enhancement value.
Press 'Enhance' to start the process or 'Reset' to remove all artifacts from the slots. The 'Cancel' button closes the UI without making any changes.
A successfully enhanced artifact is added to the Artifacts tab of your inventory.

Artifact books, artifacts and items for their upgrade have some transfer restrictions.
Artifacts can be used in the Grand Olympiad and the Ceremony of Chaos.
